In that case, did striped tires quit at the end of 1967 Z/28 production, and Goodyear WT's start at the beginning of production of 1968 Z/28's?Bryan

It was an E70x15 according to the air pressure sticker, being available only on the Z28 I would call it special. By the way the early 69 Z's list the on their Window Sticker a no cost 15" tire option. PU6 AD - E70 x 15 TiiresThis was dropped sometime between N522xxx and N528xxx based on the Window Stickers in JM's book.

Would the wide tread GT have been called a 'special tire' in Jan '68? Was that the standard tire on the Z28 at that time? If not, what WAS the standard tire on the Z28 in Jan '68? I was thinking that this 'special tire' might have been red line tires...?
