Hope to meet some of y'all there.

That's kinda what I was hinting at - don't know if ours will be here by then or not. Won't be able to order them until late next week :(. Gotta take care of those pesky bills first.

you could always improvise with a plain unprinted T shirt and a BIG MAGIC MARKER...  :)

Thought of the marker, too. We came up with a better idea though - a custom tee shirt with a pic of the car front and back, plus a little simple art work - IF we can find someone local to do it in that time frame ;D Even thought of mentioning CRG on it - but I believe that might violate a reg or two! Oh well - we shall see what the fickle finger of fate has in store for us in the way of tee shirts ;D

Mike.

AS long as you aren't *selling* the product, you can write anything you want on your own T-shirt....  like:
".. everyone, including yours truly......... LOVES CRG"....   :)

which would get everyone's attention.. :)

Howdy all. Wondered if any other FLA. folk are going to the Nats in MD?? We're officially booked in the Travelodge in Frederick as of tonight! This will be our 1st visit. Any tips?

Won't be taking the car this time - not enough $$ to rent an enclosed trailer or for the extra gas to tow it this year. Got the truck to pull it though - '06 Silvo 1500 HD. It's a PITA to be on a fixed income!

Hope to meet some of y'all there.

Y'all take care,
Mike.
Hi Mike! I will be there on Friday morning and then in the afternoon leave for Carlisle's GM Nationals. You might want to try to take in both shows as there are many more vendors at Carlisle. Both shows have much to offer and just a shame they continue to be the same weekend.

I like the Camaro site in Fredricksburg (uncrowded, etc) , but.. missing the swap meet at Carlisle is a downer...  I think I will try to do both shows if I'm able to go this year...

Agree Gary! Just to know also, the Carlisle show is having a large 1969 solid lifter GM car display. I know of several (at least 3) CRG members who will have cars on display there.

Thanks Steve68. That's why I said that "it would probably violate a reg or two" ;)

Thanks for the suggestions all. I know about the GM Nats in Carlisle as well, but due to the $$ shortage, we can only do 1, and it's the Camaro Nats - reservations already made. Just wish we could take the car. Hopefully next year! ;D

Mike.

It's only 87 miles between the two (less than 1.5 hrs), so you could make your reservations for the Camaro Nats, and do a 'day trip' one day to Carlisle and the GM nats (and swap meet).. which is what I will do if I get to go..
