No, that Super Chevy article is 12+ years old, and the car remains RHD to this day (don't think he'll ever change it, as this car has a unique documented history). But as all Camaros were LHD from the factory, this one was converted locally upon importation when new; at the time, all cars here had to be RHD, so there was no other option but to pay for the conversion if you wanted a vehicle that wasn't already here, or wasn't made in factory RHD. It was like that to try and protect the domestic car manufacturing industry, like having huge taxes and tariffs on imported cars. Some conversions done back in the 60's and 70's were better than others, and I have seen some hack jobs over the years that I just wouldn't drive over safety concerns, but this car is not one of those.
