I think those are pieces made into furniture. Front end= desk, rear=couch? Educated guess as of now, based on other similar pics I have seen. (Back after a minute of searches)Further investigation confirms my initial thought...man I'm good!  http://tr.pinterest.com/pin/538743174145019630/

I would have to restore that grill and grill surround, and then install the grill emblem to the proper location...

On the plus side they got the deck lid paint correct on the couch, surprising since most of the spoiler (non couch) cars I see have the stripes painted all the way to the lip.

They had to put the grille emblem there in order to clear the built-in WiFi router.

Wow...I nearly forgot about Shane. I spoke with him around the time I bought my Z in 2000. I had an extra pair of tail light lenses he wanted. Man, it took a long time for him to get them too. I remember him telling me something about that cutaway Camaro.

Yes he is Gary - and still in the car business, although last time I caught up with him, he confessed to buying a couple of Mopars recently...... Yikes! He's moving over to the dark side.
Nice story about the double header, enjoyed hearing about it straight from the guy that discovered it.

He was great to talk to. Mopars are great cars, I wouldn't mind owning a few different models myself. They always seem to command some big money. They are rarer then hens teeth or chicken lips around my neck of the woods.

At the time I talked to Shane he was working on a right hand drive 69 Z28. I had a pic of it at one time but as computers go boom sometimes, it went to the electronic dimension in the sky.

Here it is, very nice, unrestored Hugger Orange car - converted to RHD when imported here as a new car, and still remains RHD. Kind of threw me when I first saw the car with the fender pinstripes as well as the Z stripes, but apparently they were added a very long time ago so he left them alone:

Very cool. Is that orange, if so it seems a bit dark. I really like the minilite style wheels, been looking for a set for my car.

Yes, it's an original HO car (if you're into that - sorry Gary, couldn't resist ) and yes, does have a right hand mirror. More on the story, with photos, here:

thats pretty wild. So they said they switch it (back) to a left hand drive? If it was originally delivered there it wouldn't be a factory right hand drive Camaro?
