Late '69 Z28 Emissions decal ?
« on: January 29, 2014, 04:01:33 AM »
There has been a lot of discussion on emissions decals such as in the discussion below and others
http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=9772.msg71449#msg71449

But there hasn't been any conclusion to the existence of, or changes in?, a post July '69 small block (Z28) Emissions decal.   I recently purchased one supposedly for a late production car, which was coded 'DJ' and which was stated to be for after July production, but.. what bothers me about it ..  it includes data for a 290 hp (Z28?) with an automatic (which never happened), thus I'm not impressed by these repro stickers.    Does anyone have information on this topic?  or a source?  OR should I just buy the CF coded decal and forget the 'late issues' if there was one?

Have you seen a real "DJ" sticker on a later car? I am always checking out Z's and I haven't seen I haven't seen one yet.
