1969 Camaro SS 396

Just curious if the Blue D90 stripe was a factory special order stripe or added to match the 715 interior. Looks great IMO. Can't go wrong with the Cortez Combo!

Not exactly sure but the rear tail panel is also blue.  The sign in front of the car says that its has the "Nickey" package, so maybe this was done at the dealer before it was sold???

Didn't see the rear tail pan picture.

I zoomed in on my picture and there is a picture of the rear of the car on the sign.

Here is a picture of the rear of the car that I took the year before at the same event.

1969 Baldwin Motion Phase III Camaro's

Does anyone know more about the triple black Baldwin conversion car? My car is triple black with red stripe, and I noticed this one is with a white stripe.
I have to wonder if that car was a true triple black car or not...

Black 69L78. 4:10, RS/SS/ZL2, 'black painted tail panel different than body','red hockey stripe w/ v-top exception'
Blue 68Z28. 4:10, Kustom 'tunnel tube' headers, Nickey sold.

that car is a clone of the 69 Baldwin Motion Camaro he bought new and was stolen a short time later

It was an original triple black car with white stripe and was used in the 1969 Motion ads

Rick,
Good question, for which I do not know the answer. But I just sent you a PM about the Motion Camaro we spoke about in Charlotte. BTW, great to see you there.

Well that car follows the rule of white stripe with v top then, if it were in original paint in that ad. That's counter to how my car was striped (i.e. red).

That's the second Cherokee built (06B Norwood) and was driven by Sterling Moss as the Can-Am pace car in the Summer and Fall of '67.

Jon, loved the picture but what caught my eye was the "Smothers Brothers Race Team" hauler. Remember the one brother drove but don't know what or how they did. Boy do you have a library. :)
