it was on EBay a few weeks ago and if I remember right it ran its course and brought upper 30's. It showed sold but this is the same seller so I assume the deal didn't go through. I admired it and wished I had the room and extra $ to bid on it last time. It appears to be a nice original survivor.

THAT is a gym dandy car...  :)   I love it.     I hope someone buys it who appreciate it for what it IS.. and not what it 'might be'...

Man, I like that car with the flat hood. The 2 things I wish was on my unrestored Z, the flat hood and original paint. Somebody will get a nice car IF it sells. The economy sucks, at least where I sit. I would like to have it.

I know I do not have much to post about, but I know the previous owner and car well.  He bought it in 1971 and sold it in Dec 2012.  He found my 69 Z in 1975.  Both were from the same dealer in Louisiana.  I had several chances to buy the silver car, but was not financially able.  The used parts that go with the car ARE the original born with pieces.

Why is it that the cowl tag, the block stamp and the POP are always blurring in the pictures. I don't get it. I would have to hold that POP in my hand. I would have to see ALL the block #'s. I don't like the non stock ride height, too low. Nice car but I would still have to check it out, or have someone else, before placing a bid.... Danny

What do you mean "to low of a stock ride height?"  It is perfect!
And the cowl tag is clear as a bell!

The ride height is not stock. I don't like the height personally. I guess I should have said that. It is incorrect for stock. Don't get me wrong, it looks good, just not my thing. As far as the other... I was talking about ALL the auctions, not just this one. Sure the cowl in this auction happens to be clear, but what about the POP at a bastard angle all blurry, and the front pad stamp all blurry. What's the problem? Why can't people learn to take a clear picture. Like I have said in the past, SOOO frustrating for me.... Danny

The ride height looks very correct to me (for a Z28), and I drove/rode/played with many when they were NEW, in '68 and '69 up thru '72 and later.   Danny, if you don't like 'stock survivor cars', find yourself one that someone has 'restored'.... :)

i zoomed in on the rally stripe pics. To me they look added or like a later repaint and not the original lacquer. The ride height looks good to me and I think that the protect-o-plate picture is intentionally blurry for privacy of original owner info.  Anyone? Anyone?
