That's what the first owner got, in place of the metal P-O-P that was delivered with U.S.-purchased cars; it was issued by GM of Canada-Oshawa, and mailed to the new car owner. Note the paragraph below the card where it talks about receiving the card in the mail.
It could have sat on the lot for a while. Could have been driven by an employee or family member or the owner of the dealership.
So what happens to the metal POP placed in the car at the factory? Are they not made up for cars slated for export to Canada? Is there any decoding information for the Canadian POP's?Thanks for your response. CRG data on POP's is pretty thin.
Since GM of Canada has the records for these cars, it shouldn't be too difficult to decode once you get enough plates. Then again, why bother if you have the GM Canadian DOC'sHere is another random Canadian POP off the web. It has an extra field with BCD.
