PCV connection
« on: August 29, 2006, 09:45:28 PM »
We have our 67 SS-350 motor almost complete. We have found the correct dated carburetor, vacumm line to the distributor, alternator brackets etc. One problem we are having is it appears there was a PCV valve some how connected from the front of the carburetor to a fitting at the rear of the block. This fitting at the rear of the block is where the blow by tube was plugged in on previous years engines. If anyone has detailed information and or pictures of this PCV system we would be most appreatiative.

Thanks

Bob

You can find your answers in the 67 Camaro assembly manual page 279 also known as UPC L30 sheet A3 this is the standard 327/275 and 350/295 setup. California cars have the K19 A.I.R  smog pump setup (cars made to be sold in California not built there).

bobvickers..... What size fuel line do you have feeding your carb from the fuel pump? I also have a 67 RS/SS350, exactly like the one I had when I was 18 (in 1967)! But that detail I don't remember. dans67camaro
