Need info on this car.

I told the owner I would help him find info. on his 1968 Mustang. The car was restored by Mike Mulcahy. Mike has a web page filled with false race history information. It was said that Wes Dawn drove the car. The current owner said he talked with Wes's wife and she sent him a picture of the 66 Stang Wes drove, but no 68.. The owner was told when it was ran in the trans am  series it was in the Texas region and was raced in California. But it's just hear say. In the owners research he was told the car was either light blue or white with Slide and Dive Waco Texas on the quarter panel. But was told no driver name or car number. I know the information listed isn't hard evidence to go on , but I hope it rings a bell of someone.

Thanks. That was one of the sites I planned on posting on. I wanted to put it in front of as many people as I could. I know how knowledgable Jon and the others are on this forum. Just wanted to increase my chances posting in several places.

Those are all great resources for Mustang info. I particularly enjoy Wolfgang at the ponysite. We have traded quite a few emails and he's quite knowledgeable but there are good, knowledgeable people at the other sites mentioned as well. Good luck.

Thanks Pickle. I do have a print off of that site. The info. Mike has is partly true. The stuff he posted was stuff he was given by the owner before him, so it's not Mikes fault some of it is wrong. It was the only thing he had to go by. Mike does a great job restoring the cars he does so I don't want an of this to be taken the wrong way on his part.
