Hi Whitney,

Double check the VIN with the seller.  The full VIN in the link you posted is 124379N636257.  The same seller is selling a '69 SS with that same VIN...

Yeah, what Paul said. Not enough info to make an educated guess if it is the real deal or not. If your really interested in the Huggar Orange Camaro and the VIN didn't match the Yellow Camaro I would grill the person selling them both. Like most will probably say the VIN on both could be just an oversight, but there isn't much to go on for description.

I'm always wary of auctions or ads that show general photos of the car, without any close-ups of the stampings and casting #s, which are all-important when considering buying a "real" Z28.

Thank y'all very much!  I def. want to get it right the 1st time and at least get an all original #s matching drivetrain.  To me, it's very sketchy to put in your selling description " Real Z28 w/ matching number engine", but show no proof.  And what about the the rest of the drivetrain, is that not original?!  Just aggravating and they could save us & themselves a ton of emails and questions.

I do know the Orange car has a ton of repop parts on it. Makes ya think and check real close for re-stamps.  Oh BTW where's the smog tubes and pump?

Has a ton of stuff wrong like exhaust manifolds, no cowl induction wiring, deluxe seats with standard door panels etc. Without documentation and close up pics of trim tag and engine stamp I would look for another car.
