1969 z28 rear brake backing plates

Haven't found exactly what I'm looking for.
I noticed on eBay plugs for an adjuster hole on the backing plate. I got some parts from HBC and the plugs were included. My backing plates don't have a hole for them?
Also not sure what they are called but the arms,levers that are involved with the parking brake seem to be plated with the parts dealers. Mine show no signs of gold after cleaning with evaporust. We're they bare metal?

The holes were not "punched" out at the factory.

Many times they were punched at the first brake job.  If there was a slight lip on the drum, the adjuster could only be accessed by punching out that knock out.  They do not need to be punched out if you already have it apart, and I would not do so.

Believe the self adjust lever was cad plated (not sure), but that is a rough environment, so they fade.

The park brake lever was natural, I believe, but again not 100% certain.

Thank you. My drums had never been off and welded themselves go the hub. I heard you could back them off but no hole .

I recently disassembled to check my rear brakes (69 Z28); I reused all the removed parts, but had to rebuild the wheel cylinders as there was some pitting in the wheel cylinders; the car hasn't been driven in 33 yrs.  Shown below are photos of the brake parts from one side almost ready for reassembly. 
Note the painted part numers on the adjusters (241 in white on one side, 240 in red on the other).  They didn't appear to have been plated prior to installation?
Second photo is a brake drum, where you can see the 'punch out' not yet punched.

Thanks Gary. Our springs are the same color. What gets me, I have some parts from hbc and springs are not the same color. I got wheel cylinders and knew they weren't delco but the 2 they sent don't match each other! Mine are fine inside and rebuilding them. I got a rebuild kit from ricks and their pictures look like the one they use for front matches my rears. Guy said sometimes the pics are wrong. What I got is like the picture, no rubber ends on springs. Very annoying. These places should know. I think the white number on my adjusters is 384. Wonder what that means. You can't mess with number it wants to come right off.
