  I'm not an expert for 69 tags but the number 7 catches my attention. Of the few NOR tags I have seen around that 69 date range they have a curved 7.
Then again I don't know if more than 1 tag stamper was in use at any given time to possibly have a different font.

Your car was 80 VINS behind mine, I can confirm any other dates you wish, from glass to trans to brake calipers.

Here is my 10D NOR TAG and BLOCK VIN
The stampings look light however they look correct and very consistent in comparison.





My opinion is the block looks correct and there is nothing wrong with the tag.
Pull the upper rear seat and look on the pass side upper bulkhead frame for a X7 or X3 in yellow grease pencil.

X codes did not show on the tag until around 12B or so. My 12A has no X code but it was chalked behind the seat although I don,t know if it is real.

My Z28 is 10B,  it does Not have any markings behind the back seat.
