You can release the pin from the connector with a micro flat bladed screwdriver about .050 wide and .025 thick.
THIS WILL/SHOULD REQUIRE NO EFFORT!!
IF THE WIRE AND TERMINAL DO NOT SLIDE OUT EASILY YOU HAVE NOT RELEASED THE TERMINAL FROM THE PLASTIC CONNECTOR
A bobby pin (hair pin) works well if you pull the plastic coating off it.
This is for removal of PLASTIC CONNECTORS which have FEMALE BLADE receivers.
With the connector mates unplugged -
1.Take the wire from the rear and push it and thus the brass terminal end forward in the plastic connector,
2.Slide the screwdriver down the front of the plastic connector, there is a groove which the micro screw driver will slide into, in turn releasing the female side blade terminal.
3. With screwdriver still in slide the terminal and wire out the back. Males sides are a different procedure.
As noted the reproduction temp sending unit plug is correct however the plastic connector is black VS white.
