67 ss/rs
« on: November 08, 2012, 11:51:03 PM »
I have a 67 ss/rs with several options some sound like their rare. It has front shoulder belts, reardefogger, front seat headrests to name a few. It is a one owner car with 55000 miles in need of total restoration. its a 350 4speed with a/c. Does not run but everything is original and there. I was wondering what you might think the value is? I appreciate any comments. Thanks

Really need to see pictures to get accurate with the numbers. Any rust issues? Damage? How bad is it?

I am out of town but will post pics asap. The reason for asking I was offered 10000.00 sight unseen because of the options and would be happy with that but more is always better and I have no idea so im asking . thanks

In today’s market, A 1967 RS/SS L48 in pristine condition should sell somewhere north of 35K. 40 to 45k if you’re lucky. Since yours is in need of a total restoration it could easily cost well in excess of 40 to 60K (w/sweat equity) for the restoration. So keeping these numbers in mind would you pay more than 10K for a car that will cost a minimum of 40K to restore and be worth maybe 40K when done? If your answer is yes well you’ve just lost a minimum of 10k. My point is, ask for 15 but don't hesitate at 10.

Like tmodel66 said; sure would like to see pics...maybe the buyer noticed something we didn't. :)
