Rear well Liner -convertible

I don't have an AIM. First problem I know.

Does anyone have pics of how the rear well liner is installed? Or scans from the AIM?
I'm specifically looking for how it's attached on the seat side.

That was a Fisher Body operation, so won't be in the AIM.  Go here:

That's not addressed in the (Chevrolet) Assembly Manual, as the top was installed by Fisher Body; I have the '69 Fisher Body Service Manual, and the seat side of the well liner isn't covered there either. Your best bet is to look at a known-original convertible to see how that area is attached.

It's glued to the front face of the rear seat support panel with contact or trim cement.  It overlaps the front edge by abour 1 1/2 to 2".

Found this thread over at TC site, scroll down to the picture.  There was also a discussion thread if you do a search under the Convertibles section, using well + liner, however it was never confimed if just glue or glue plus large pan head trim screws was correct.  Personally I think just glue is correct.  If you have a fold down seat that may throw you another curve, as there is that fiberboard trim panel that screws to the steel divider panel, and it's screws might have also caught the glued overlap of the well liner.
