Console Gauges
« on: May 26, 2012, 10:36:02 PM »
Hi , I went to Springfield swap meet yesterday and saw a pair of console gauges ... Both silver faced but what was weird to me was one of the lettering was a greenish color/tint and the other more white..... Were there date codes on these ?  Thanks Rob

The gauges in my '67 console have a white sticker with the broadcast code and date.

Springfield Mass?

Sticker on the front of the carrier has the letters PA in blue, the cluster number, a space for the console number and AC Made in the USA at the bottom.
Then in black ink using a manual type of rubber stamp the month date and year and console number are stamped over the face of the sticker and sometimes on the carrier.
I'll try to attach a photos of one.
