'69 rear upper shock mounts, which way do they mount, flat side up or down?

Yeah, I know, but the mount is flat on one side and concave on the other,my question is which side gets bolted to the body? I've heard both from parts suppliers....

It goes in with the shock 'cup' UP.... fitting thru the hole in the body...
