Great looking car! I just got a Ralley Green '68 Z28 with black vinyl top and white stripes I'm starting to restore, really nostalgic color combo.

It looks pretty clean. If it didn't have one that dealer on ebay would have added one, they throw a cowl hood and spoilers on all their cars for sale. They do a good job with the photos though. We will see what it bids up to...

Close up pics of many stampings, but none of the cowl tag!

At $79,900 the car is priced at about twice what it is worth. No chassis detail at all, wrong shifter & knob, missing AIR system, cheap muffler shop exhaust, NAPA rear springs. Mis-matched headrests, repro seat covers look horrible.

When I had the car it already had the cowl hood. Car was a very nice driver quality restoration. For a pic of trim tag go here.

Wow...that does look really nice as is in those pictures. So, the firewall markings weren't on it when you had the car I assume.

None of the markings were on it when I had it. I can't believe they didn't change out the interior. It was that cheap reproduction when I had it. It was a driver quality when I had it. Lots of issues. Door handles were from a firebird. I sold it because of all the issues. Paint wasn't bad just one small clearcoat issue.

I would much rather have the car you have now, I will take a low milage Z/28 that is a 20 footer over a restored car any day. But I like having a car that is a driver. Seems like so many of even the high end resto jobs the paint is so nice any little debris that chips the paint or gets the undercarriage dirty and you start to devalue the car.
