L65 Carb
« on: July 26, 2011, 11:04:20 AM »
Guys,

Is there any difference in the two barrel that went into an automatic or 4 speed L65? Also anyone know what model number carb would be correct for a 4 speed carb?

Thanks,

Lawrence

Thanks John.

What would the differences be between an auto and straight drive two barrel for the L65? Would the auto carb function ok on the straight drive car?

Probably just minor calibration differences - jetting, accelerator pump squirters, choke, etc.; the auto carb will work fine on a manual car.

In addition to what John mentions above, there was also additional bracketry and hardware for the kickdown, idle stop solenoid, etc... on the automatic carbs.
