BB harmonic balancer
«

The machine shop says my harmonic balancer is likely no good because the rubber is rock hard.
Is there anything I can do or should I just get a new one?
DO they even have correct 8" harmonic balancers anymore from GM? Any advice is appreciated. GI Joe
PS also looking for a correct 68-69 BB oil pan.

DALE MANUFACTURING
has a very good reputation, and I have one of his rebuilt balancers on my 69 Corvair. Great job and very reasonable prices.

"Damper Dudes" (800-413-2673) and "Damper Doctor" (530-246-2984), both in Redding, California, rebuild harmonic dampers; lots of the Corvette guys use them - they do excellent work.
