Is there a VIN? Is there a pipe plug in the block just above the timing chain cover?

Thanks William. I've emailed the seller in regards to a VIN in the hopes of posting it in the Orphans section, no response yet. Yes, the pipe plug is there. It's a 3970010 block (bored .030 over) with a casting date of E 2 9 if anyone is looking...
