Does anyone know what goes between the air distributor duct and the center outlet adapter duct. I have about an inch and a half gap between the two? If so where do I find it?

Part #9.. a seal?
If it is the seal, you may wish to try and make one. I haven't found any really good, usable ones after 35 years of deterioration.

Part number 9 is just a strip of adhesive foam strip about 1/2" wide, it fits inside the upper part of the ductwork and sticks to the outside of the lower part.
