What's the story with the twin depressions in the hood valence panel on Don Yenko's ex-Yunick Camaro?

Those depressions weren't there earlier in the season at Daytona for the Citrus 250. I don't think they're deliberate. That panel is relatively easy to dent inward if you put body weight on it such as trying to do work under the hood.

Click on the following Youtube link to see a 9 minute film showcasing a Formula Ford race held at Michigan International Speedway in September 1969.  It shows some great footage of the rarely seen road course portion of the track that the Trans Am race was held on earlier in the year.  I believe the footage was taken during the SCCA Central Division Nationals held at the track on Saturday, September 20, 1969 and Sunday, September 21, 1969.  The footage appeared in the automotive television program called Car and Track.

There looks to be a lot of negative camber on the rear of that Firebird.

Now pivoting to the left to look at the banked oval section, heading to the S/F line.
