This car was built within 40 cars of my Z10.   Sounds similar to mine also, non original motor though.

My car was built 50 cars after this one, and mine is a 713 black houndstooth also.

Kurt, my vin ends in 638321  how close is your car?

How cool is that Kurt!  Mine is a 4pseed, 350, Black houndstooth, power steering, power brakes, AM radio, no console.   How does that match up with yours?

I think yours is the closest vin to mine that I've seen.

350, auto on the column, no console.  A/C, PS. PB, Black deluxe interior.  No idea what radio it came with but the dash was not cut or the rear package tray area, still virgin!   My car came with the original motor but no trans so I am converting to a 4 speed, maybe a 6 speed if I like it after I do my 68 with one.  I am going to keep all a/t parts but a manual is going in.  That makes 3 Z10's within 50 cars, wonder how many others are near ours.

All of them are near yours.  They were all built within a 2 week period, 04C to 05A.

good point, wonder how many camaros they made during those two weeks? Also wonder what the first and last documented Z10 serial numbers are.  No real reason to know except its fun to see where mine fits in with the others.  Hope one day we can get a list of all the known cars so we can compare, most likely have to leave serial numbers off since some prefer to keep that private.

I missed these last posts. So reviving an old thread:

Your cars were really close together. I know of 6 Z10s within 90 cars. That means about every 10-15 cars was a Z10 for a little bit!

First know VIN is about 9N631600. Last is about 9N639600.

Kurt, what's the axle code from your car?
