rosewood dash

my rosewood dash is in pretty good shape for its age, but does show some light scuffing or for better words scratches. these scratches cannot be felt with your finger nail. is there anything that someone has tried to help hide these marks?

Yes I have repaired.... improved the look significantly.  I have a original console that had corrosion around the bezel and it lifted and deteriorated the original wood grain vinyl.  I used some gel stain, rubbed it in and rubbed it off.  It took to the areas where the vinyl was scratched and darkened the lifted areas.  Looked much better,  If you are worried try a small area under the edge and you will see that it does not cause any negative consequences..... I used Varathane gel-stain.
