Were kick panel speakers an option for a 67?
« on: April 11, 2010, 12:15:21 AM »
Just trying to see if the speakers in my kick panel could have been a factory option for my 1967.  My car is the AM radio with rear antenna option.

If so, were there any differences in the kick panels, or did they just cut holes for the speakers?  I have deluxe interior if that matters.

Lastly, could a car have had a dash speaker, kick panel speakers, and rear shelf speakers?

Thanks.

Multiplex and stereo tape speakers were mounted in the kick panels.  Read about radio in options.

No multiplex systems from the factory in 67, those cars that have them got them at the dealers, or from previous owners.  8 track stereo tape player was the only way to get 4 speakers from the factory.
