'67/'68 clutch FAN, ...4 rivets ....not 5?
« on: April 19, 2006, 12:44:37 PM »
...I've read the CRG report on cooling, etc. and from what I can see, ...the FANs for the clutch fan setups (for '67 and '68) had FOUR (4) rivets, ........not 5.
I seem to see a lot on Ebay advertising the 5 rivet style as original for '67/'68...

   ...just curious...

  Thanks,
              Kevin

The way I understand it, the four rivet fan blade was the original style.  The 5 rivet style came out as a replacement for over the counter sales.
I have the same "problem" with my '68 Z's.  They came with a 4 rivet fan blade...the 5 rivet are so much easier to find.

There is one fan used in 67, 912239, that did use five rivets. Never seen it on a 68.

Need to finish the update to that cooling report...
