'68 Norwood engine and vin stampings are very easy to authentic. 

The protect-o-plates do have the small holes through the whole warr book,

Also, $18,000 for a Camaro in 1984 (before the first Muscle Car price run up in the late 80's) would be unheard of. These car were not collector cars yet at that time.

Actually, I looked at a very low mile 69 Z/28, white with black stripes in 1984.  It was advertised as "tight and right" and was in Chicasha Oklahoma.  Asking price was $15,000.00.

It is a shame this guy won't talk to Kurt to see if the car is the real deal.
