A/C Heater blower fan switch
« on: May 12, 2009, 04:43:43 PM »
Tried finding one of these years ago and the local GM dealer could not get me one. I have not been able to get one anywhere else either. The old one still works but it comes on and off periodically, it appears to be melted down inside and makes contact at some point and triggers the blower fan on and off. Have seen in the "Resto" catalogs the switch for non A/C cars but have not seen one for A/C equipped cars. Need Direction!    Thanks ???

i see them on ebay fairly often. btw, did you check your blower resister coil assembly? mounts on the a/c box under the hood, has i think 3 wires going to it. if you unscrew it and remove it from the a/c box there are what looks like coiled wires. one of my coils broke and i lost a speed.
