Manifold decode - 4 barrel cast iron
«

Wanted to confirm a date of production for my manifold...
F118:
Does this equate to a production date of June 11, 1968?
casting number is: 3927184, with a GM-5 pattern if that helps at all.
Thanks in advance for any help.

According to Colvin's "Chevrolet by the numbers", it is a June 11, 1968 cast date, 1969, 350 4bbl Rochester.

So it was cast for a 1969 model car?

Yes, it differed from the 1967 and 1968 manifolds primarily in that it had no provision for an oil filler tube.
