With no documentation this car could have been about anything. One thing that seems strange to me would be why someone would take a deluxe door panel car and convert to standard panels. Unless both doors were badly rusted and someone put doors back on the car with the standard interior door opening hardware already installed. Remember the door opening hardware is different for the standard and deluxe interior cars.

It at least has the mandatory "caution fan" sticker.

He should be arrested for the overuse of the word RARE. It could be anything but rare.

That's a lot of miles 999,999 numebers like that make me wonder, since the odometer on a first gen rolls over to 0 at 100,000

There is a ton of expertise on this site. For more help post good photos of the trim tag, VIN tag, firewall, and any documentation.

Also read the info provided on this site at:
http://www.camaros.org/numbers.shtml#CowlTag
http://www.camaros.org/drivetrain.shtml

Try to find and confirm the partial vin's on the firewall, and trans.
