What color primer did you use and why?  I have 67 soft top that will be butternut yellow.

Thanks,

Mike

we used two different colors. both epoxy primer.  gray and black.  gray on the outside and black on the inside.  no real reason.  we only por 15 the inside used black on the inside trunk and passenger area.  I think the spatter paint will go over better on the black than the gray.

thanks for the info.....wasn't sure if primer color would make yellow pop more.

Finally,  how are you tackling the paint while it's on a rotissorie?  Mine is also on a rotissorie and I'm concerned on when and how to pant under where it's currently mounted.  Advise?

the rotissorie made working on the bottom easy.  we painted the bottom of the car while it was on the rotissorie and the butternut yellow when if was on the ground.  the fenders, hood, trunk, etc.....was all painted off the car individually.  also when we took the car off the rotissorie we painted the parts of the frame that we missed.  no big deal really. hope this helps somewhat
