69 kick panels - 2 types which is original/correct.
« on: July 18, 2008, 03:59:38 PM »
I have seem two types of kick pannels, one that has a removable cover to the vent and the other just molded vents. Is one correct and the other just repro? If if so which is correct. Thank you, Don

both are correct depending on when your car was built... I believe the chage from 2 piece to one piece was around Jan...

My 69 Camaro built the third week in Jan.  has the kick panel with the removable vent covers.  Hope this helps.

Not sure what part is removeable? Are you talking about the oval door that pivots?

I have it pinned down to 02A, some of both styles in that week. Not enough data to pin it to a day or two, yet. :)
