White wire under dash
« on: April 21, 2008, 11:59:30 PM »
I am taking my car apart so I can get it painted. While removing the interior/dash noticed a white wire that was strung from one end of the dash to another. The wire appears to be for the courtesy lights, but my car did not come with courtesy lights. Did the factory put this wire in regardless of the option? BTW my car has not been taken apart previously....sure does not look like it anyway...lots of factory suff still in place.

Thanks

Its the wiring for the light switches in the door jambs.
