LOOKED AT THE UNTOUCHED 68 Z TONIGHT AND THE MASTER CYLINDER BAILS LOOK DARK GRAY. THEY LOOK LIKE THEY ARE GREY PHOSPHATED IS THE CORRECT? I ALWAYS THOUGHT THEY WERE BARE STEEL. ANY INFO ON THIS?

John is correct here. These bail wires will not phosphate either. We have tired. Just leave them as plain steel and keep them oiled so they won't rust.
