whats the shortest or longest time span between the casting date and the stamping date on a dz 302? I've seen some months and some days apart and was curious what is the correct time span. thanks Frank

The widest time span that I have personally seen was an 010 block E 22 9 casting with an original stamp V0729DZ.
I think that is not within the "norm", though.

Early production cars have a slightly wider span on casting dates vs assembly dates. Closest I've seen and documented as real was one day. That was on a 3rd quarter built Z28.
