reproduction body or other orginal body
« on: February 18, 2025, 10:40:42 PM »
Hey guys and gals, I'm needing to know what you think I  should do. I have a 1968 Z/28 with lots of options and all orginal numbers with paper work and protecto plate. The body is so bad that I would have to change nearly every part. Do I buy a repo
body or rebuild this one or I also have a 68 body that has NO rust. What do you think?  Thanks for you input. Gary

The good body is about 4 months different in build date.

Some pictures would be helpful. The repop bodys arer't exact. Using the rust free body would meen changing VINs....maybe. Maybe grafting the 2 together might be an option. I would try to retain as much of the original car as possible. But then again, I live in southern Arizona & don't really see these problems...Joe
