Late 1968 Z Rods?

Newbie here but, have been following the forum for years.
1st time question. I've read many posts that state Chevy went to floating wrist pins in late 1968 (and all thru 1969) for the 302 but, what Month in the '68 model year is actually considered late? Is it safe to assume that "late" indicates the last 4 months of manufacturing? Any examples out there?

1968 Camaro production ended in July 1968 and 1969 Camaro began in September 1968 (CRG data).  As for 1968 Z28 connecting rods, I helped my friend rebuild the engine in 1973 and the rods had pressed-in pins.

Thanks, I've seen that post but, it doesn't mention when the floating pins started in '68.
What month was your friend's engine with the pressed pins?

My friend's 1968 Z28 had 302 badges, so according to CRG, it was build before March 1968:

I don’t know when in the 68 model year that floating wrist pins started. My guess would be very late. I will see if I can find a date.
