My father has this 1969 Camaro he has had for 28 years. Early history is unknown. He bought it from an older gentleman in 1994 who said he bought the car from two hotshot teens whose dad raced and wrecked the car in the driver's front fender slightly bending the frame. When my father purchased the car which was black with a black interior and a black convertible top with Z23 woodgrain and no U17 gauge pack, Originally Lemans Blue with special order black convertible and black D-90 SS Stripes and SS package. originally had the L48 SS350 engine with a (TH350?) automatic. The car was last purchased with a 3970014 engine block date coded with D-10-73. Came out of a wrecked 1973 corvette and was installed in the mid-'70s or early '80s. Full mechanical overhaul in the process. Came with Rally Wheels.
Other than what the Chevy Muscle Docs may suggest, does anyone have any parts, photos, documentation (PoP, bill of sale)? or history of the car? might you recognize the vin? All replies and questions further are acceptable.
