Original 67-68 D90 and D91 stripe details

Starting a thread about the details of original 67-68 stripes (but not Z28 stripes).
Here's the header stripe of an original paint 06C LOS 1968 car.

This D90 SS 396 68  was at last year’s (2015) MCACN in the “barn find” area. Do not have the trim tag info of when built and where.

I'd be over-the-moon grateful to anyone that could/would please post pictures of the 1967 SS stripe on a norwood car. I realize they would vary a bit from car to car and from shift to shift depending on how the stripe painter masked it on the car. The assembly manual doesn't dictate how it ends down by the bumper. I've seen cars most cars end with a "slash" masking behind the bumper and I've seen a few that terminate all the way down where the fender/valance joint is! Any pointers or help will be great ly appreciated!

Don't know how I missed this thread from 2017-to present?? I'm guessing the main focus of your question is on the stripe's lower termination?

Link here is a Norwood 03C survivor car... LOTS of photos at ---> https://www.mecum.com/lots/502577/1967-chevrolet-camaro-rs-ss-pace-car-edition-convertible/ .  I have LOTS of other photos & links I've accumulated over the years; but can't say for certain whether they're Norwood or LOS cars.

I can say, I have never seen the 'long tailed' header stripe (as illustrated on AIM pg L48/B2) on an original car. Have seen a number of cars (re)painted & striped this way, but none with original paint. I'm not saying there weren't any, just that I've never seen one. There are many here more knowledgeable than I, so if these did exist I'm sure someone will point out the correction.

The Stencils & Stripes stencil kit we used on my car (in 2013) was engineered to the 'long tail' (AIM) spec. Overall I felt the rest of the kit was very accurate and correctly proportioned. On my car we did not fully utilize the lower extension (long tail) and taped it off where I felt was the proper point. I was very happy with the results (photo).

Don't know if these are NOR or LOS cars, others here maybe can clarify? I would guess most are Norwood cars simply by proximity, as this showing took place in eastern Pennsylvania...

How did Steve's 67 survivor end up with a rear spoiler? That 67 with the tow bars has a stripe that is wrong.
