AAR 'Cuda & T/A Challenger VS '70 Z/28
« on: July 20, 2021, 08:18:03 PM »
In one of my previous topics we discussed Boss 302 VS Z/28. Now, lets have a go round with 1970 Camaro Z/28 VS the 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A and Plymouth AAR 'Cuda 340-6 cars. Which one was quicker (1/4 mile) and faster around a road course.

I've never driven a 1970 Z28, but I did get to drive a 1970 Challenger T/A, with an auto trans, on just one quick test drive.  That car could get up and move.

With no particulars in mind I do remember tangling with both in my street racing days and both were formidable opponents. They were a handful for sure. Took everything my 327 had to keep a fender in front!

Funny you should say that….a local AAR was no match on the street for my L-30. I was as surprised then as I am today…..
