Actually, psychology theory suggests that condescending addresses (such as "boys") self impose the greeter
to the dominant alpha role and suggests others in the group are inferior to the greeter. Similarly,
failure to acknowledge the attendance of both sexes while addressing a mixed group suggests superiority
over that dismissed group.
Aren't we taking this a bit too seriously? No condescending, dominance, alpha superiority, dismissed, inferior, acknowledge, etc. It wasn't even on my mind when it was posted. All it was intended to be a nice opening line. The term 'boys' Is used often on here and on other sites. IF I offended anyone, I'm sorry.
