For a 69 Camaro to come with molded door panels, were houndstooth or comfortweave seats required?

Z87 Custom Interior option included comfortweave seats with green, blue or red interiors. Coupes with black interior could be ordered with comfortweave or houndstooth seating; white, orange and yellow were houndstooth only. With the exception of the Z11 option, houndstooth was not available in convertibles.

No matter how many you see, comfortweave and houndstooth seating was not available with standard interiors.

Poster on one of the FB pages posted that it WAS possible to get standard door panels with Comfortweave seats. Would that have been a special order of is he full of it?

Full of it. CRG will shoot you straight. FB who knows. Some groups have members from the CRG, but FB in general is a crap shoot.

exactly.
I will say it is another outlet to see cars that I wouldn't see on other platforms. Somehow owners like to post there and ask questions of other people who don't know, then to find a real source of information. A couple of us moderate some Camaro groups, just to cut down on the misinformation that runs rampant. it is what it is...
