The Pace Setter sale / promotion was tied to being a selected as the pace car.
But the sale was not applicable to any pace car or hi-po car. The sale was mostly L6 cars with some 327 V8 cars. The only V8 cars involved in the promotion were those ordered with the M11 floor shifter or the D91 nose stripe.
