1969 Camaro AD rally wheel question
« on: March 26, 2021, 04:11:01 PM »
I have an early Van Nuys 1969 Z28 Camaro built 09D 1968.  Four of the wheels were clearly K 1 8 8 9.  In searching for a spare tire wheel I came across an AD wheel stamped K 1 8 8 19.  Does anybody know if the valve stem holes drilled before and after wheel date code stamping?  Attached are pictures.  Thanks, Mike

The piercing of the hole should have happened earlier in the process.
Not uncommon to see a digit missing in the valve stem hole.

The 8/19 wheel is also well within the parameters to have been in your car when it came off the assembly line.
