68 camaro console rebuild
« on: July 18, 2020, 06:54:58 PM »
I bought the Classic Headquarters 47 piece console fastener kit from Rick's, now I have all(?) the fasteners and all the parts and no clue as to what goes where.  I have gone thru the AIM and that is a little help but not much.  Any clues??

How 'bout posting a photo with the various fasteners laid out in common groups...  ;)

If the original CHQ kit didn't include instructions, the best I could suggest is to use the AIM to get the part numbers in parallel with the AMK fastener catalog (PDF, available from their site), which cross-references the GM part number and gives a description. It'll be a little tedious, but should get you done.

Thanks to both of you, sometimes it just takes getting organized, and with the help of people willing to help, the AIM and the AMK I think I have it close to figured out.

Thanks again!
