Dated sparkplug wires

I want to get a new set of date coded spark plug wires for my 69 Camaro.  The car was built the very last week of August . I know 1-Q is correct from Feb to Aug but since my car was built at the end of August would the 3 - Q be correct

My car was  built Aug 28th 1969. They only make 1Q69 & 3Q69. I bought 3Q69. I might've been more interested in 2Q69..Joe

If I wanted to do an accurate restoration on the car of OP, I’d buy a box of each quarter and mix them all in a pile and pic out a random set.

Best idea I have heard to have it as close to factory as possible.
Short of having a few 2nd Q's to throw in the bunch it's a perfect idea because the assembly plant did not choose same dated wires for the sets they made up... they chose correct length (part numbered) wires to make a set- a few part numbers are used more often than some others.

I have a set of original plug wires from a Dec. built 69 Camaro and they are all dated 4-Q-68. The coil wire is 3-Q-68. All plug wires have different part numbers on them even though some are the same length.

Thanks James. I thought I had my facts right...of course, if I’m not right, then, they won’t be facts!? But that was my understanding is that there were bins of wires of each part number and dates all mixed in those bins.
