How do you replace foam on 69 bucket seat tops w/ springs  or should I ask if it can be replaced ?
Have searched but haven't seen anything on this topic.

Joe,
My 69 seats have the seat back cushions with a reinforcing wire molded into a separately attached cushion. I can get the foam with wire but am looking for information on the install before I take my seats apart.
Thanks for the info provided but it was for the seat cushions without wire.

Yours has the black molded area is the seat back, correct? There was a note in the foam kit I got saying that that part of the seat to be re-used. I purchase the foam that was recommended by most of the people here...Joe

Joe,
I want to thank you for the leads. I called American Cushion and they told me that the yellow foam is to be separated from the springs and the gray rubber on the back of the springs. The gray rubber is to remain attached to the springs and new foam is glued to them. They could not tell me if the springs were molded into the gray rubber or was sandwiched between the yellow foam and the gray rubber. I guess the burlap can not be used. I am going to call Legendary and ask them about this problem area.
