Ground point in the trunk
« on: September 02, 2019, 02:48:14 AM »
I installed a reproduction rear wiring harness. All the wire connectors and light sockets are straight forward, but there is a ground wire around the fuel filler that I can't find a attaching point. It has a round eyelet so I know it gets a screw or on a stud, but I'm not seeing it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Paul

Sorry, not a very good picture, and you didn't say what year, but I believe they're all the same. You should be able to get the idea. Check for a hole on the passenger side trunk lock brace.

I thought it would be something like that. I'll have to take a third look, maybe it's covered with splatter paint. Thanks you for the reply Bert.

It's a 68. I assumed the first gens. were all the same.

Thanks Paul
